So my takeaway is that the DoD have to get out of their offices...and go out into the world and secure Rare Earths now!!! And it is already probably too late if a war was to break out now. DoD have been asleep at the wheel for two decades.....why didn't DoD learn their lesson from the BlackBird Titanium sourcing issue during the Cold War? History repeating itself. Except this time it is not just one defense systems...it affects 95% of the DoD systems! That is a massive failure in command.
Time to splash the rare earth cash Trump!
