Hi all, guess my first post here.
Interesting news about the Ukraine /US deal. What I don’t get is that so many news outlets focus or headline explicitly REE as part of the deal. Well, yes there are plenty of REE, as nearly everywhere in the world, but only rarely specified, what quality the REE resources have and what a potential timeline for exploration there would be…

A small map is in the above article, and for me it shows that there is much more to be found than REE, e.g. Titanium, Zirconium, Beryllium. All important metals for military, aircraft, space, satellites, nuclear. Zirconium not being very rare, Beryllium kind of rare, both with some effort to separate.
Another article mentioning the deal:

With a much better Map of the Studied critical mineral deposits:
It will be interesting to see, if the final signature of the deal has a certain impact on the shareprice of the typical REE companies.
