The RoW has pretty much not expanded its magnet supply since 1995. That is 30 years that China has built up its strategic advantage in the full value chain. From Mine to Magnet (even though this graphic just shows Magnet it is true for mining, processing etc.).

The rest of the article is nothing new. But it is very well written and it captures it all in a 2-3 min read. Def worth a look and to provide for friends that want a 'quick snapshot' of what is going on...
