Yep....so @Fundamental how long do you think they were working on this deal?

The reason I ask, is that these things take time.....and I wonder what else is coming?

Also I thought that Trump would wait for his Exec Order review to be complete....in Oct this year.

So what else can we expect before this date? And what will happen after this report is released?

A good question, considering that Apple would not currently be a big user of NdPr. This must be about securing critical supplies for a future Product, that will need a lot of magnets ~ Robotics ? being the most likely candidate. But, given the development time required to bring such a project on line, you would initially think that Apple could quite easily wait until RE production stabilises in around 5 years time. Apparently not, so I can only deduce that whatever the Project is, it is well advanced and almost ready to go into production.

As for trying to make any sense about what is going on in Donalds head, it is like betting on flies crawling up a wall ~

I know apple were scrambling with all the tariffs. So maybe this was a positive gesture towards Trump. I mean they have lots spare cash...why not help an industry that Apple will likley need in the future, and make the decision makers of the country happy....kind of a good will gesture.
