Not just Uranium but also REE (and medical isotopes)

Energy Fuels is widespread often misunderstood as a solely producer of uranium. Not so many people know their activities in the Rare Earth space. It all boils down to White Messa Mill were they not only can process Uranium conventional but also REE.
Their advantage is they have knowledge how to deal with SX (Solvent Extraction) a Know How not to often find outside China and the ability to handle radioactive material. So Uranium and REE is a nice fit.

To get really good information dense overview I can only encourage to read the Substack of BidBird:

He is also going into the 3rd even less known story which is also very interesting and judge when successful which is medical isotopes.

Hi @EddyMoney87

EF is an interesting company. And they seem to be wanting to really build themselves into the RE sector.

And given, like you say, they can deal with the radiation issues easily...they could become a major processor.

BUT at this stage, they have only processed small quantities of NdPr oxide from a pilot the did around 2022–24. They do have plans for up to 10,000 tpa in 2026. But without some major funding, I don't see how this will happen.

REEx has just completed its ranking of the global rare earth processors. See the article here:
https://rareearthexchanges.com/news...lly-making-magnet-grade-oxides-outside-china/

At this stage we are not yet going to be publically releasing the full list. It is something that will be released perhaps later.

But in terms of EF - they rank low, mainly because they only have 'plans' to process, rather than the companies that are actually processing to oxide. But again, this could change quick...if the Trump Cash is splashed thier way.

That is right they are not scaled up. But they have supplied samples to POSCO (NdPr) to make Magnets. They prepare samples of Dy at the moment.

And they also will go to Tb and Sm.
If they are successful they would have shown a extreme fast development of these elements. So they would have a good idea how to scale up.

Their White Messa mill has access capacity and could produce their Uranium and REE (for the beginning). They are not want to do it that way rather doing it with a separate line.
Also their feedstock can be very cheap as they use Monazite from Heavy Mineral Sand. Their JV Projetct with Astron is going to go in the FID Phase this year.
They have more then 200mio USD of cash right now guess this will be spent in some way.

As a new President there is Ross Bhappu incoming. Early in his career he was with Molycorb and acquired Mountain Pass. So he is somebody at least a little familiar with rare earth. He also will become CEO with a year if all runs smooth. His Background is very interesting.

A long way to go but sure I would not underestimate this company. Looks strange as they are in uranium but the synergies are there.

If you do not believe me you could try to invite somebody from EF to explain to you in a Podcast?
I would like to see that?
