Anyone starting out should read our 101 page:

https://rareearthexchanges.com/rare-earths/

Here you will find a quick 5 min read on all the important facts/issues when thinking about investing in rare earths.

I would love some feedback on this too. We want to improve it. Is there anything else you think we should add or change?

This is really really useful and the info regarding the individual elements really helps craft a greater understanding of the topic for the novice reader like myself.

One question I had which arose whilst reviewing the 101 info, the HREE/LREE project lists and watching the video you, Daniel and Dustin did going through the databases was with respect to the oxide vs concentrate output of each project. I note that this field is applied only to LREE database so am I correct in my understanding that HREEs can only be outputted as either an oxide (as suggested in the HREE columns) or concentrate?

I am trying to pull strands together based on everything you guys have done and put together so as to aim my new positions accordingly with a focus perhaps more on oxide output given China's announcement today regarding embargoes to chemical reagents etc.

Thanks!

Hi @drphilipjamesmurray@gmail

So when trying to convey large amounts of information through a long process/supply chain, we needed a common unit. And an oxide was the best. Lots of the miners (LREE and HREE) only produce to a Mixed Rare Earth Carbonate (or Concentrate). (MREC). But we calculate what the equivelent oxide value would be, based on their own data (if we have it), or esimates (using industry norms etc.).

Hope that helps
