ReElement Technologies Applauds the Quad Critical Minerals Initiative and Highlights the Power of Localized Refining Solutions

Collaboration and localization are essential to building a cost-competitive and diversified supply chain for national and global security

ReElement has established partnerships across the Quad nations - Australia, India, and Japan - as well as in Africa, South America, and Europe to deploy its localized refining technology

I would be very interested in hearing some information concerning the rare earth minerals contained in coal ash and what plans exist for this source of feedstock

Hi, @taulbee256:

I sent your question about REEs in coal ash to Mark LaVerghetta, co-founder and director of ReElement Technologies. Below is his response. Thank you for your question.

"As a multi-mineral, multi-feedstock critical mineral refining platform, we believe ReElement is uniquely positioned to address the chokepoint in the global critical mineral supply chain. Our platform is designed to refine a broad range of inputs - including various forms of coal waste. In fact, analyzing coal waste for critical minerals was one of the starting points that led to the creation and development of ReElement Technologies.

While the concept of extracting critical minerals from coal waste is not new, we believe our advanced refining methods bring the ability to apply economically viable process engineering that can consistently deliver manufacturing-grade materials.

That said, we continually assess market opportunities with the goal of bringing the right products to market and maximizing shareholder value. Coal waste remains one of several compelling opportunities we are exploring, and we will prioritize those that best position ReElement to lead in the critical minerals market.

Thank you,

Mark LaVerghetta,
ReElement Technologies Corporation"

Thanks @MargyAllSeasonsPR

Sorry for the slow response. i have been on holidays.

Yeah it is an interesting business strategy. But i guess it all comes down to the economic viability. And that comes down to two things....price you can sell the RE for...and the cost to produce it. And at the moment, i would imagine that the RE price is still too low to justify the assumed higher production costs.

As always, these things can change. They might have a breakthrough withthe tech and lower the costs...or RE prices go crazy high. So worth keeping an eye on.
