Hi Guys

We just finished interviewing Darryl the CEO of ARU. Podcast to be released soon.

It was a great interview. Some of the topics we covered:
- Why has it taken ARU about 20 years to get to this point
- What does ore to oxide really mean and why it is an important strategy
- How does the MP Material/DoD pricing floors affect the global market and ARU's current off takes (you will want to hear this part!!!)
- Why financing RE project is so difficult
- What ARU are looking for in a JV partner and how the JV financing would work (again you want to heat this part)
- Why the capex appears so large compared to other projects
- The role of governments in assisting the RE sector
- And much much more

There were so many other bit of information that you will find useful. Like did you know that those companies only producing to a concentrate, have additional transport costs, due to the radiation present in their product. Whereas, an oxide product that is transported does not have this cost. This is just one of the many little side points that are discussed.

Anyway....hoping to release this interview soon.

Thanks to the ARU team for the interview.

Just so people don't have to scroll down (although there are some great posts below...so please read)...here is the interview:

Thank you John! Cannot wait! well done !

⁩ just watched the podcast - amazing! Really insightful and inspiring to listen to - for me , in particular as a small investor, (who has been really concerned about the SP not improving) REE and DC explained the discussion to a simple person without professional or specialized knowledge on ARU and rare earths !! Thank you. 🙏 great job ! I think l may buy more shares in ARU..

Where did you find the link Edward?

Just wanted to extend a huge thanks to John, Daniel, Dustin and the Rare Earth Exchange team for producing such a comprehensive and high-quality podcast with Arafura's Darryl Cuzzubo. This kind of long-form, deeply researched conversation is exactly what this sector needs.

The episode offered an incredibly clear picture of how de-risked the Nolans project truly is:
  • Offtakes secured with Hyundai, Kia, and Siemens Gamesa.
  • US$1B in debt funding locked in across nine lenders and five countries.
  • All major approvals in place and a project team ready to build.
  • Completion support & contingency facilities totaling ~US$430M.
  • Lowest cost quartile positioning, thanks to by-product phosphoric acid and efficient infrastructure access.
Beyond the numbers, Darryl’s articulation of phase two, turning Arafura into a processing hub, shows serious strategic depth. That vision doesn’t just scale their own operation, it unlocks the entire Australian rare earths ecosystem.

One thing that really stood out to me was Darryl’s closing comment about planning more frequent visits to the US. Call it intuition, but both his language and body language hinted that something may already be moving there. Possibly the JV or strategic equity??? His measured but deliberate delivery had the kind of weight you notice when someone is keeping cards close to the chest.

Again, massive kudos to the team for the platform you’re building. It’s making real contributions to transparency and understanding in a critical, complex market. Well done!

Thanks guys

And here it is embedded.

A BIG THANK YOU to the Arafura team for the longer interview. I think the rare earth sector is a really difficult and complex sector for investors. And that is our mission at REEx, to make it easier to understand. And I think having Darryl able to take his time, and explain things in detail really does help. So thanks guys!

Is there anything we missed that you would like in a follow up interview?

By far the most confident interview I have watched by the CEO, and it is a credit to Rare Earth Exchange for making DC so comfortable that he could speak freely.

And so he will be visiting the US more regularly hey!! Suggesting?
